Candidates must hold a primary medical qualification (PMQ) accepted by the GMC and meet the IELTS/OET English language requirement. 

On average, candidates spend 3–4 months preparing with structured materials and practice exams. 

The Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board test was designed to ensure that doctors who qualified abroad have the right knowledge. Of course, this assessment exam evaluates every candidate’s skill to practise medicine in the UK.

According to the latest stats, Sri Lanka ranks at the top, and Russia ranks last for the PLAB passing candidates.

This course is specifically for Part 1. Additionally, we also offer separate preparation resources for other examinations.

Taking the IELTS module and attaining a score of at least 7.5 overall is a requirement. Moreover, all aspirants must have a minimum of 7.0 band for all four language skills and Med Exam Expert is here to help in achieving this score.
